Panzer was difficult to train -- only because he was incredibly cute that no one wanted to "make" him do anything. However, once we got started, he soaked up the knowledge like a sponge! What a SMART boy! (Okay, so he also had some difficult training moments because he thought maybe HE should be the leader!!)

German Shepherds are very intelligent, bright dogs which need a "job" of some kind. Don't give a German Shepherd something to do, and you'll inadvertantly create a monster. Panzer's "job" is basic obedience... and he does his job happily!
